According to reports, NPDGroup, a research firm, found in a recent report that 75% of the pactions in the US apparel retail industry were contributed by consumers who frequented discount stores.

MarshalCohen, chief industry analyst at NPD, believes that consumers who love fashion and consider economic factors are very much in favor of discount stores, which has a huge impact on department stores.

The discount channel is second only to the electricity supplier channel, with an increase of second.

As of April this year, the number of discount stores increased by 4% over the past year, half of which will buy goods.

NPD's report data from the CheckoutTrackingService system examined the shopping invoice data of tens of thousands of consumers.

Other data that did not enter the report show that all kinds of consumers in the US, including high-end luxury consumers, will consider the price factors when shopping, goods will be more than three, and they will visit different styles of shops.

AndyMantis, executive vice president of CheckoutTrackingService, said that even 71% of the users of luxury goods would choose to shop for Marshalls, TJMaxx and Ross, 30% of them would go to fast fashion chains, and 23% would go to luxury discount stores.

He thinks fashion retailers need to attach great importance to the group of luxury consumers, because these people will choose fast fashion, discount stores and so on in addition to buying luxury goods.

They are willing to spend more money on clothes, so even if they do not buy luxury goods, they are still an important source of ordinary retailers.

In this way, the high-end and low-end retailers are much more relaxed than the middle grade businesses.
