In the same year, Shuhe opened the "Yi Xue Guan", which was sponsored by the government, and three private schools. In the near and modern times, it founded primary schools and secondary schools, making Shuhe a famous town for talents.

In the past, there were more than 300 households engaged in leather industry in Shuhe village, 500 pairs of Nissan leather shoes, and all kinds of leather goods exported to Tibet, Xichang, Qinghai and other places. Some businessmen even arrived in India, Nepal and other countries, so there was "Shuhe cobbler and a cone walking the world".

In Ning Lang, Zhongdian and Deqin, there are still cobbler villages in Shuhe, where the cobbler lives.

In 1942, Shuhe cobbler village worked with the international organization for Industry and commerce to jointly run the leather cooperative through loans and stock exchanges.
